In an industrial suburb, there are two factories facing each other. On one hand, the former paper mill, the subject of a restoration project, welcomes graphic artists, designers and illustrators who guarantee the passage of the paper industry into the digital age. On the other, there is an aluminum forge, an image of an old wavering industrial world, which is taken over by its workers who get organized as a cooperative. What kind of future is taking shape in this changing territory?

Julia Pinget, French documentary filmmaker, she studied in Marseille. After his first university short film Depuis quel es animaux sont partis, she developed since 2012 her own research focused on places and their stories. Une place au soleil (2018), is her first feature film, telling the story of a beach in Camargue where some working families camp and create a new ecosystem. After Work (2020) is her latest work.
