Nora, 26, has just finished law school. She is a young lawyer as immature and naive as she is talented. She works in a firm specialising in crime cases. One day, after a party in the city of Arras, her boss calls her, unannounced, to assist a man in pre-trial detention. He is a young man accused of murdering a neighbour. Nora has the impression that she has no real-life experience for being involved in her first criminal law case. From the initial meeting with her client and through investigation, Nora discovers the cruelty of the world surrounding her professional and private life. Quickly drawn into the frenzy of this new experience, she begins to make mistake after mistake that eventually leads her to question what is happening to her. Things get even more complicated, when she has to deal with an unexpected love affair with a policeman. Nora will have to question her professional and personal choices with ever-increasing feelings of tension and doubt. Based on a true story. National premiere.
