This year the valuable network of partners of Job Film Days is enriched by the presence of Agenzia Piemonte Lavoro, with whose collaboration Job Film Days presents the world premiere on Wednesday, October 2 at 5 pm at Cinema Massimo of two short films, directed by Matteo Bellizzi, to tell the story of the world of Agenzia Piemonte Lavoro and the activities it carries out through the provision of services for work. A look ?from the inside? to give back to the audience the life paths of those who are looking for a job, have lost it or are learning it, and the experience of young people under 25 who participate in the ‘WorldSkills International’ world championship of trades.

Presenting the films is the director. Followed by talk by Matteo Saudino (professor and writer).

Methods of access: admission is for invited guests only. There will still be a quota of tickets available for the general public that can be purchased online and at the box office.

IOLAVORO (Italy, 2024, 18′)

IOLAVORO is the largest job fair in Italy, an event organised by Agenzia Piemonte Lavoro to offer a privileged meeting point between companies and candidates. IOLAVORO becomes a unique opportunity to explore the many aspects of a galaxy often known only through data and statistics. The fairgrounds become a stage where the many stories of those who look for a job, learn it or simply imagine it, move and intertwine.

WORLDSKILLS: WORKING TO SUCCEED (Italy, 2024, 22′)

Elisabetta and Andrea are two members of the Piedmont team that will take part in the Lyon Worldskills 2024, a major international competition that compares the skills of young people under 22 in performing a professional activity. Elisabetta, who specialises in hair styling, alternates her days between ?training? at school and running the salon. Andrea, freshly graduated in bartending and room service, tries to improve his technique under the guidance of his teachers. Worldskills will test their skills by turning them into Olympic work athletes for a few days
