Event in collaboration with Magistratura Democratica e University of Turin, Department of Humanities – DAMS
On Thursday, October 3, Job Film Days presents, in collaboration with Magistratura Democratica and University of Turin, Department of Humanities – DAMS, Justice in Cinema. The narration of the work of magistrates and judicial police through films.
In this event, which has an innovative format because it compares two seemingly distant worlds such as justice and cinema, it will be possible to discuss what is true, plausible, fanciful or imaginary in the representation of investigations, trials and the work of magistrates and judicial police within Italian television series, including through the presentation of short clips from some films.
The event, aimed especially at students of the University of Turin, Department of Humanities-
DAMS and Department of Law, is open to the public.
The meeting will be led by Giuseppe Battarino (jurist and writer) and Paola Valentini (University of Turin, Department of Humanities, DAMS). Giulia Francesca Muggeo (University of Turin, Department of Humanities, DAMS) will moderate.
Methods of access: free entry.
