Corviale, Rome. Rita is a woman in her thirties, mother to a young girl named Rosa and a day labourer in a patch of land located in her neighbourhood. One day, after being pestered by a Social Media Ad promoting a motivational course held by mental coach Tiziana Forte, she begins dreaming about a future that seemed unattainable. Rita enrols in the course and, enraptured by the woman’s rhetoric, will try to make a breakthrough by quitting her job and starting afresh. From that moment on, she will start to take charge of her life but will eventually find herself at the mercy of events she had not considered. Therefore, she will soon understand that in this world there is no place for her dreams to come true. In the end, however, a small gesture, together with the strong connection with her daughter Rosa, will give her new hope.
