MAKING OF (France, 2023, 119′) Tuesday, September 24 at 9:15 pm, Cinema Centrale Arthouse Premiere in collaboration with I Wonder Pictures On Tuesday, September 24 at 9:15 pm at the Cinema Centrale Arthouse there will be a screening of the film Making of, by Cédric Kahn (France, 2023), in collaboration with I Wonder Pictures, the film’s Italian distributor. The film recounts the difficulties that Simon, an acclaimed director of social denunciation films, goes through in making a film about the struggle fought by a group of workers to keep their factory alive. Behind-the-scenes footage shot by Joseph will reveal the tragicomic vicissitudes of the making of the film. The film will be presented by Cristina Renda (Cinema Centrale Arthouse). SAFETY AT WORK IN ITALY: A PUBLIC HEALTH PROBLEM Thursday, September 26, 9 am. to 6 pm, University of Turin , Department of Psychology, Via Verdi, 10 The event provides an opportunity for an analysis of the occupational safety situation in the framework of public health protection in our country, resuming reflection on one of the most relevant among the themes proposed by the Job Film Days film festival. Before getting to the heart of the event, with screenings of the films in theaters, the spaces of the Department of Psychology of the University of Turin (Via Verdi 10) will host a conference on September 26 dedicated to occupational safety. The Italian Sociology Association, Section of Sociology of Health and Medicine, the Job Film Days Ets Association, the University of Turin and its Department of Psychology have decided to promote a dialogue between different disciplinary fields. Inauguration of the photographic exhibition “INTIMATE WORLDSKILLS” by Raffaele Montepaone Friday September 27, at 6 pm, Polo del ‘900, Piazzetta Franco Antonicelli Event in collaboration with Agenzia Piemonte Lavoro, ISMEL (Istituto per la Memoria e la Cultura del Lavoro, dell’Impresa e dei Diritti Sociali) and Polo del ‘900 Twenty-five shots by Raffaele Montepaone follow closely, in an intimate and discreet way, the long and intense preparation of the five Competitors at the 2024 WorldSkills World Championships in Lyon, in the days leading up to the international competition. A tale on the tip of the emotions, which caresses anxieties, worries and expectations and transports us inside the different moods experienced by the participants, while waiting for the day of the challenge.
