From the foundations to the finished buildings. The movie describes the stages in the construction of a building complex, the everyday life inside a huge open-air construction site in French-speaking Switzerland. It introduces us to the workers, their hard work and stories. People coming from various parts of the world and more or less integrated in Switzerland, each one with a past that cannot be forgotten and a present that is always in the balance.

Charlie Petersmann (Geneva, Switzerland, 1984), director, cinematographer and editor, he studied at DFFB (Deutsche Film-und Fernsehakademie Berlin) from 2006 to 2012. (2015) and À ciel ouvert (2022), presented to major national festivals.
