The film is narrated in the first person by the director, No U-Turn is a road movie which takes us on a journey with the author, three friends and Nigerian citizens that leave their Country. The move towards the North through Africa (Lagos, Benin, Burkina Faso, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco) and beyond, with the goal of reaching Europe to look for work and an opportunity in order to build a future, despite the known and unknown challenges ahead. This film is part of the Generation Africa project.

Ike Nnaebue (Nigeria) is a Nigerian director, screenwriter, producer, editor and is one of the leading names in the new African cinema. He founded the production company Passion8 Communications in Lagos. Nnaebue occupies an important role in the Nollywood industry. In 2013 he produced False, his first hugely successful commercial film. A prolific filmmaker of genre films, comedies and dramas, with No U-Turn he signs his first documentary.
